Rosalie Grant joined the Blue Devil gridiron program in April 2022 and serves as the director of football nutrition.

Grant came to Durham after serving the 2021 season as an assistant sports dietitian at the University of Nebraska. While with the Huskers, she organized the day-to-day operations of fueling a 160-man football team and aided in fueling over 400 student-athletes in a self-operated training table setting. In addition, she collaborated with sports medicine, coaches and support staff to promote optimal health and performance for the department.

Prior to that, Grant spent three seasons (2017-19) with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League as a sports nutrition intern. While in Minneapolis, she managed and operated the fueling station at TCO Performance Center by preparing snacks and post workout smoothies to ensure athletes were getting the correct composition of nutrients post-workout to promote optimal recovery. Grant worked with the team dietitian to provide athlete education on nutrition including meal timing, recovery, and performance.

The Delano, Minn., native served time at North Dakota State University and Rasa Nutrition as a sports nutrition intern in 2017 as well.

Grant is a registered dietitian who received a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from North Dakota State University in 2017. She added a master’s degree in human nutrition and dietetics from Michigan State University in 2019, where she also completed a dietetic internship. Grant is a member of both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA).
