Peggy Nelson returned to the Duke football program in 2004 and now serves as the Administrative Assistant for head coach David Cutcliffe.

Nelson previously worked under Duke football coaches Mike McGee and Shirley “Red” Wilson in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

From 1987-2004, Nelson worked at the Duke Medical Center where she worked with former head men's basketball coach Bucky Waters.
