Oscar Monnier joined the Duke football staff in March 2023, and currently serves as a scouting assistant.

Prior to his time in Durham, Monnier served the 2022 season as the assistant director of recruiting operations at Stanford University. During his time with the Cardinal, Monnier identified and evaluated prospective athletes for the coaching and personnel staff. He also kept track of the transfer portal, and offered initial evaluations.

Before joining the Cardinal staff, Monnier served a two-year stint (2020-21) in the recruiting office at the University of Oregon. He started as a scouting assistant (2020), before being elevated to an assistant director of recruiting (2021). His main responsibilities included the identification and evaluation process of potential prospects.
Monnier earned his professional start as a scouting assistant at Northwestern University for the 2019 season.

Monnier graduated from Northwestern in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While working toward his degree, Monnier served as a student assistant for four seasons with the Wildcats.
