Kent McLeod joined the Duke football program in the spring of 2008 and serves as Duke’s Director of Player Personnel.
At Duke, McLeod oversees the recruiting efforts for the football program while administering camps and clinics. He worked alongside Duke head coach David Cutcliffe while the two were at the University of Mississippi.
McLeod came to the Duke program in 2008 after working the previous seven years at Ole Miss. He joined the Rebel staff in 2001 as a recruiting assistant, was elevated to Coordinator of Football Operations in 2005 and spent the 2007 campaign as an Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations.
A native of Ackerman, Miss., McLeod graduated from Ole Miss in 1999. He is married to the former Whitney Dunlap of Richmond, Va., a Duke graduate who serves as the Director of Iron Dukes/Varsity Club in the fund-raising arm of Duke’s Athletic Department, and the couple has three children, two sons, Graham and Maddox, and daughter Finley.
