Kayla Hudson joined the Duke football staff in January of 2022 and currently serves as the director of recruiting operations. She served as the on-campus recruiting coordinator for the 2022 season before being elevated to her current role.

Prior to arriving in Durham, Hudson served as a recruiting graduate assistant at East Carolina (2020-21). In that role, she coordinated all aspects of recruiting visits, hired and managed student assistants and communicated with staff and prospective student-athletes.

Before elevating to the recruiting graduate assistant role, Hudson first gained experience as a recruiting and operations student assistant for the Pirates from 2017-20.

Hudson graduated from East Carolina in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She was also a four-year member of the Pirates’ cheerleading team.
