Bill Hambrecht joined the Duke football staff in the spring of 2006 and serves as a graduate assistant coach.
Hambrecht spent the last year at Saint Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, N.J., serving as a physical education teacher and assistant football coach.
A native of Egg Harbor City, N.J., Hambrecht played football at Rutgers (2000-01) and Hofstra (2002-04). He graduated from Hofstra in 2005 with a bachelor of arts degree in history/geography.
After recording 43 tackles during his senior season, he earned a spot on the All-Atlantic 10 Academic Football Team in 2004.
