2005: Returning starting safety ... fifth-year senior ... one of the most experienced defensive backs in the ACC with 34 games, 30 starting assignments and 1,779 career snaps played to his credit ... along with Brendan Dewan, has started the most games of any current Duke player ... one of six active players in the ACC to have started 30 or more games entering the 2005 season ... played two seasons at cornerback before moving to safety prior to the 2004 season ... assumes a leadership role in the secondary as the only projected senior starter ... owns career totals of 140 tackles, 15 pass breakups and two interceptions ... has started each of the last 29 games in which he has played.
