Upcoming Event: Field Hockey at Syracuse on September 26, 2025 at 6 p.m.

Kyle Brantner joined the Duke field hockey coaching staff in the fall of 2005 as a volunteer assistant coach. A 2005 graduate of California State University, Chico, Brantner brings experience to the Duke staff as a player on the USA Men’s National Team and a club coach at Chico State.
As a goalkeeper of the USA national team from 1998-2003, Brantner attended such elite tournaments as the 2000 Junior Pan American Games and the 2001 World Cup Qualifier. While a student at Chico State, Brantner founded a club field hockey team in 2003, recruiting and retaining over 25 women and placing second in the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference in the inaugural year.
Brantner began his collegiate education at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif. in 2001 before transferring to Chico State in 2003, where he earned a bachelors degree in Public Administration
