DURHAM, N.C. – Duke football representatives Joe Giles-Harris, Daniel Helm and Daniel Jones are all in Indianapolis for the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Helm and Jones took part in an NFLPA meeting, psychological testing, bench press and interviews. Saturday the on-field workouts will commence for the pair.
Giles-Harris is one day behind in the rotation, going through through measurements, medical examinations and media sessions and interviews at the NFL's main pre-draft event Friday with his meetings and testing Saturday and on-field events Sunday.
Live television coverage will be provided by NFL Network from Friday to Monday. ABC will also broadcast two hours of live on-site coverage during the quarterback and wide receiver drills on Saturday, staring at 1 p.m.
Below are some of the highlighted comments from writers around the country who were covering the Duke contingent in Indianapolis, or writing about them prior to their arrival.
Peter Schrager, Good Morning Football Host
"Jones, the Senior Bowl MVP who has great NFL size and maturity, was coached at Duke by David Cutcliffe -- the same man who guided Peyton and Eli Manning during their respective college careers. The Dolphins turn the page with a new coach and quarterback."
Ryan Wilson, CBS Sports Writer
"Jones has bigger hands than Murray and Haskins and while he's not the athlete Murray is, he's sneaky athletic."

"When you watch the tape, what sticks out to me is his anticipation."
VIDEO: Awesome to Learn from Eli
"Being with Coach Cut and the Mannings is an honor and something I appreciate very much."
"When I say under the radar, I mean way under the radar. No one hardly even knew about him.”

When Duke quarterback Daniel Jones broke his collarbone, his NFL draft prospects were thrown into flux. Then two teammates stepped in. They were benchwarmers—and 3-D printing gurus who put together a special device to allow him to return to the field. https://t.co/NGVG1eRLdQ
