DURHAM, N.C. - Former Duke and current Washington Redskins wide receiver
Jamison Crowder recorded career highs in receptions (six) and receiving yards (45) and scored the first points of his career on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter during Thursday night’s 32-21 loss to the New York Giants.
Crowder, a fourth round pick of the Redskins, has collected eight receptions for 52 yards through three games in his rookie season. With three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson out with a hamstring injury, Crowder looks to help fill a big gap in the Redskins receiving corps. Washington returns home next week to face division rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m.
