Quotes
- "We accomplished really, everything we want to do tonight. First getting the win, being healthy moving forward tomorrow and doing it fairly quickly -- not a long, drawn out match. Clemson is a tough one for us as well. Yeah, Georgia Tech has always given us a little bit of trouble and we actually did address that in practice and talked about that a little bit. I thought we responded well." – Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
- "I think they definitely built off of the doubles in their singles. They're a tough team – Liv is tricky up at the net and in doubles. When Aspen is moving well and returning well, they're tough to beat in doubles. It was good for Liv. Liv hasn't had a lot of quick, easy matches. And so it was good for her confidence to get that match quickly as well." – Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth on Aspen and Liv's performance
- "I thought we just came out flat, other than at three doubles, one and two just got off to such a slow start. They did a good job of battling back, competing and finding a way in those two matches to win one and keep the other one going. I think we can still be better and I think we just have to come out with a little bit more energy. I told them that's one thing you guys can control. Maybe you can't control wind, you can't control whatever the ball, but you can control that energy from the start of the match. The doubles are so quick. We've got to come out a little bit more fired up than we were today." – Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth on the doubles start
