DURHAM, N.C.— Kianna Holland is one of Duke’s four freshmen on the 2013-14 Blue Devil women’s basketball roster. A 5-9 guard from Seneca, S.C., Holland arrives in Durham after being a Parade All-America selection in high school.
A two-time Mountain Lakes Player of the Year, Holland averaged 35.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.5 assists as a senior at Seneca H.S. She concluded her career with a school-record 1,851 points, while totaling six 40-point games and a 50-point outburst against Blacksburg, S.C., as a senior.
