DURHAM, N.C. - GoDuke.com sat down with freshman defensive tackle John Drew on Thursday to talk about playing close to his brother and what he wants to do after his football career.

GoDuke.com: Why Did You Choose Duke?
John Drew: I liked the coaches here and it looked like a good fit for me. My brother is a rising sophomore linebacker at North Carolina Central and we always wanted to go to school close to each other.
GD: Any Brothers or Sisters?
JD: I have the one brother and an older sister who lives in Atlanta.
GD: What number did you wear in high school?
JD: No. 33 ... My dad wore No. 33 in high school and I wore it all myself. I liked the number but I am getting used to No. 97.
GD: What sport would you play besides football?
JD: I would play basketball if I could choose another sport to play.
GD: What was your favorite NFL team and player growing up?
JD: My favorite NFL team was the Atlanta Falcons and my favorite player was Warren Sapp.
GD: What websites do you visit most?
JD: Scout.com, rivals.com and facebook.
GD: What do you like to do outside of football?
JD: I like to watch movies, go to the mall and hang out with my friends.
GD: Who is your roommate this year?
JD: Kyle Griswould.
GD: After football what job would you like to have?
JD: I am not sure but I might want to be a journalist.
