Patrick Bailey Makes NFL Debut Against Eagles
PHILADELPHIA, PA. ? Former Duke football player Patrick Bailey made his NFL debut last Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bailey, a linebacker from Elmendorf, Texas, made his first NFL regular season appearance against the Eagles on special teams and recorded a solo tackle on kickoff coverage with 13 seconds left in the second quarter of the Steelers’ 15-6 loss to Philadelphia.
A four-year letterwinner with the Blue Devils, Bailey was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster prior to the Steelers’ game against the Eagles. He signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Steelers in April and was named to the practice squad following training camp.
