Eli Nichols have been named to the 2006 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III football team.
The honor marks the third straight for Nichols while Bailey makes his first appearance on the unit.
Bailey holds a 3.28 cumulative grade point average while majoring in electrical engineering. On the gridiron, Bailey ranks first on the Duke team in quarterback sacks (3.5) while ranking third in total tackles (65) and second in tackles for loss (11.5). Nichols graduated from Duke last May with a 3.57 overall average while majoring in mechanical engineering. He has 18 stops on the season and has picked up 110 tackles including 15.0 for loss in 32 career games.
