Christian Laettner's famous 17-foot jumper at the buzzer in overtime gave Duke a 104-103 win and allowed the Blue Devils to advance to the 1992 Final Four and successfully defend its National Championship.
Known as one of the greatest moments not only in Duke history but in NCAA Tournament history, Laettner received a full-court pass from Grant Hill and finished the day a perfect 10-of-10 from the floor. The color photo captures this moment as the ball is airborne with 00:00.2 remaining on the clock. Laettner was also 10-of-10 from the free throw line and hit his only three-poitner to finish with 31 points.
