After leading Duke to a pair of wins, Blue Devil goalkeeper Aaron Fenton has earned ACC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week accolades, announced on Monday by the league office.
A senior from Philadelphia, Pa., Fenton was credited for seven saves and seven ground balls in Duke's 15-5 win over VMI, and then carded a season-high 16 saves as the Blue Devils knocked off then fifth-ranked Maryland, 10-8, in their ACC opener.
For the year, Fenton owns a .587 save percentage and 8.27 goals against average.
The Blue Devils host Penn State on Tuesday at 3 p.m., and then entertain Loyola on Saturday at 3 p.m.
