Prior to Duke: Starting forward from eighth to 12th grade at Johnstown High School, scoring 110 goals before the start of her delayed senior season … named to the Max Field Hockey Next 50 – Top 100 list … team’s leading scoring as a freshman, sophomore and junior … broke the school record for the most goals in a single season with 44 as a junior … member of inaugural 2020 NFHCA High School Impact Senior Team … plays for ADK Club … has been a National Futures Championship selection each year.
Personal: Born July 10, 2003, Taryn is the daughter of Mark and Tracy Ringer. She has one younger brother, Jake. Her mom played field hockey at Trenton State College (1991-92) and her aunt, Christine Pollak Krempa, played at William Smith College (1993-97).
