Earned third-place finishes in the discus and hammer throw at the Duke Twilight, recording throws of 38.39m (125-11 feet) and 43.77m (143-7 feet), respectively
Set a personal best in the discus with a throw of 39.96m (131-1 feet) to finish third overall and took sixth in the hammer with a throw of 45.62m (149-8 feet) at the Tobacco Road Challenge
Opened season at the Raleigh Relays and competed in the discus, tossing a mark of 37.20m (122-0 feet)
