Blue Devil Graduate Lindy Duncan Named to U.S. Solheim Cup Squad

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's golf graduate Lindy Duncan will participate in the 2026 Solheim Cup after being named one of three captain's picks this week to represent the United States at the upcoming competition Sept. 11-13 in Bernardus, Netherlands.
Duncan, along with Megan Khang and Rose Zhang, was selected by U.S. captain Angela Stanford to don the red, white and blue.
A 2013 Duke graduate, Duncan will make her Solheim Cup debut next month for the United States after turning in seven top-10 finishes, 14 top-25 placements and over $1.5 million in earnings over the last two seasons of action. At 35 years old, Duncan will be the oldest athlete on the 2026 team and the oldest debutante since Nancy Scranton played her first Solheim Cup match at age 39 in 2000.
Duncan will join fellow Duke All-American Brittany Lang on the U.S. squad, with Lang serving as an assistant captain.
Duke graduates Leona Maguire and Celine Boutier will once again represent the European team.
Duke golfers have been a fixture in the Solheim Cup over the years as the Blue Devils have featured at least one golfer in the Solheim Cup in each of the past 10 competitions.
