Blue Devils Don Full Pads for First Time in Camp

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke held its first full pads practice of the 2026 season Tuesday morning at the Brooks Practice Facility.

As part of their sixth practice of the year, the acclimation period ended and full pads were allowed to be donned. At the conclusion of practice, preseason All-American tight end Jeremiah Hasley, preseason All-ACC running back Nate Sheppard and returning starter at safety DaShawn Stone addressed the media.

Duke's 2026 season opener is slated for Saturday, Sept. 5Â when it welcomes Tulane to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ACC Network.
