DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's golf team earned its 11th consecutive and 34th total NCAA Regional appearance on Wednesday, May 6, being announced as the fifth seed in the Marana (Ariz.) Regional of the 2026 NCAA Championship. The Blue Devils make their NCAA Regional debut under first-year head coach
Bob Heintz.
Â
As the fifth seed, Duke is joined in the Marana Regional field by the site's top seed Oklahoma State, along with LSU, Arizona, Alabama, Clemson, San Diego State, Arkansas State, West Virginia, Florida Gulf Coast, Saint Mary's (Calif.), Tarleton State, North Dakota State and Iona.
Â
The Marana Regional is held at The Gallery Golf Club and is one of six 54-hole regional tournaments held across the country on May 18-20. The Jack Nicklaus signature design course is located northwest of Tucson, Arizona.
Â
Following 54 holes of stroke play, the top-five teams and the low individual on a non-advancing team move on to compete in the NCAA Championship, held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, on May 29-June 3.
Â
Ranked No. 28 in the latest Scoreboard powered by Clippd team rankings, Duke enters NCAA Regional play following a strong 2025-26 campaign. The Blue Devils captured the team title at the Rod Myers Invitational and added four runner-up finishes at the Bryson Invitational, Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, Seahawk Intercollegiate and Tar Heel Intercollegiate, before placing sixth at the ACC Championship.

Junior
Bryan Kim has led the lineup throughout the season and enters postseason competition ranked No. 17 nationally in the Scoreboard powered by Clippd individual rankings. Kim owns a team-best 70.17 stroke average and has secured two victories, including a school-record-tying 197 (-16) at the Bryan Bros Collegiate. Senior
William Love has provided steady production with a medalist honor at the Seahawk Intercollegiate and four top-10 finishes, while averaging 70.93 strokes per round. Senior
Ethan Evans has also delivered a solid campaign, posting three top-three performances, highlighted by a tie for first place at the ACC Championship, and carrying a 71.13 stroke average into NCAA Regional play.
Â
The Blue Devils will look to advance out of the NCAA Regional round for the second time in four years, after falling just short at the Reno Regional last season with a tie for sixth place. Kim finished as the low individual on a non-advancing team in Reno, tying for third place at 6-under, 206, and shot a 6-over, 222, in the first three rounds of the 2025 NCAA Championship.
