Anthony Jr. and Rivers have accepted invitations to the Panini Senior Bowl, which takes place at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday, January 31 at 2:30 p.m. Anthony Jr. is set to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl, which is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Fina is slated for the Altrua Hula Bowl, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 10 at 12 p.m. from SPEC Martin Memorial Stadium in DeLand, Florida. The East-West Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl will be broadcast live on NFL Network while the Hula Bowl will be on CBS Sports Network.
Anthony Jr. and Rivers are the 30th and 31st Blue Devils to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl and join Jeremy Cash (2015), Ross Martin (2015), Daniel Jones (2019), Noah Gray (2020) and DeWayne Carter (2023) as invitees in the past 10 years. Jones was named the games' MVP after completing 8-of 11 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in addition to a rushing score in helping the North squad to a 34-24 victory against the South.
Anthony Jr., a 6-6, 260-pound senior from Durham completed his season at Duke with 33 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, four quarterback pressures, two pass breakups and one caused fumble. Against No. 11 Illinois, he logged a career-high 3.0 sacks, tied for the fourth most in a game in program history and tied with Phillip Alexander (3.0; No. 6 Florida State; Sept. 27, 2003) for the most by a Blue Devil against a ranked opponent. Anthony Jr.'s 7.5 sacks in 2025 tied for the eight most in a year in program history while he ended his career with 15.0 in his career, good for the sixth most as a Blue Devil.Â
Rivers, a 5-10, 185-pound senior from Beaumont, Texas, was an All-America selection in 2024 and earned All-ACC honors in each of the last two years. He carded 59 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one caused fumble, one quarterback pressure and eight pass breakups this fall. Rivers finished with the eighth-most pass breakups in Duke history with 28.
Williams is the third Blue Devil to be in the East-West Shrine Bowl in the last 10 years, joining Shaka Hayward (2022) and Daniel Helm (2018). A 6-3, 245-pound redshirt junior from Gainesville, Virginia, Williams carded 44 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, 16 quarterback pressures, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup in his final year at Duke. He was the league's only defensive lineman to accumulate 7.0 or more tackles for loss in ACC games in each of the last two seasons. He turned in a year-high nine tackles, 3.5 TFL and 1.5 sacks in Duke's win at Cal and added 2.0 TFL at Clemson in helping the Blue Devils to their first win in Death Valley since 1980.Â
Fina is the 25th Blue Devil to be invited to the Hula Bowl and the fifth in the last four years, joining Evan Deckers (2022), Darius Joiner (2022), Jalon Calhoun (2023) and Jordan Moore (2024). This fall, Fina, a 6-5, 305-pound graduate student from Tucson, Arizona, aided an offensive line that was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, which recognizes the most outstanding offensive line. He helped Duke rank 16th nationally in points per game (34.6). His work has enabled the Blue Devils to set the school record for passing touchdowns (34) and total points (484).Â
