DURHAM, N.C. – Fresh off their second consecutive nine win season, including an ACC Championship and Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl victory, the Blue Devils placed five student-athletes on the 2025 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Long snapper
Curtis Cooper, center
Matt Craycraft, left tackle
Bruno Fina, tight end
Jeremiah Hasley and punter
Kade Reynoldson received recognition. Additionally, Cooper and Hasley will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot announced Jan. 27.
Cooper, a 6-2, 220-pound product of Huntsville, Alabama, saw action in all 13 games, helping kicker
Todd Pelino convert on 14-of-19 field goals and 56-of-56 PAT attempts. He also assisted Reynoldson's punting prowess. Cooper helped Pelino finish second in Duke single-season history in PATs made and attempted while the 98 total points are the fifth most in a season by a Blue Devil. He earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the third straight year.
Hasley, a 6-3, 245-pound redshirt junior from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, caught 40 passes for 454 yards (11.35) and six touchdowns. He ended the season with at least one touchdown reception in four consecutive games and caught the game-winning TD strike in the ACC Championship Game against No. 16 Virginia. Hasley's six scoring grabs are tied for the third most by a Duke tight end in a season while his 40 receptions are tied for the 10th most by a Blue Devil tight end in a campaign. He captured CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in his career.
Craycraft and Fina aided an offensive line that was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, which recognizes the most outstanding offensive line. The duo helped Duke rank 16th nationally in points per game (34.6). Their work has enabled the Blue Devils to set the school record for passing touchdowns (34) and total points (484). Craycraft is a two-time Academic All-ACC and CSC All-District selection. Fina was named to the 2023 and 2024 CSC Academic All-District Teams and earned Second Team Academic All-America accolades in 2024.
Reynoldson, a 6-0, 185-pound product of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, punted 44 times for 1,963 yards (44.61) with 21 downed inside the 20-yard line and seven boots of 50 or more yards. His season average of 44.61 yards per boot ranks eighth in program history while his career mark of 44.10 yards a punt stands second in Duke history. Against Arizona State in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, Reynoldson punted five times for 226 yards (45.20) and earned the game's John Folmer Most Valuable Special Teams Player Trophy. The sophomore garnered CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in his career.
