DURHAM, N.C.— A standout both on the lacrosse field and in the classroom,
Andrew McAdorey collected another pair of academic honors as the 2025 ACC Men's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American.
McAdorey landed on the CSC Academic All-America third team and headlined a group of 28 Blue Devils on the 2025 ACC Men's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team. The 26 All-ACC Academic honorees led all five men's lacrosse programs.
The native of Long Island becomes the seventh Blue Devil to capture the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year recognition since it was first awarded in 2008 and the second in the past three years. He joins Max Quinzani, CJ Costabile, Brendan Fowler, Jordan Wolf, Justin Guterding and
Brennan O'Neill on the list. Duke owns the most ACC Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athletes of the Year. He also is just the second Blue Devil to earn multiple Academic All-America honors from CSC.
