Duke Conducts First Preseason Camp Practice

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke opened its 2025 football preseason camp Monday with its first official practice at the Brooks Practice Facility.

The ACC Network was also on hand for its first ACC Football Road Trip of the season. The show debuts at 7 p.m. Monday on ACC Network and airs again at 8 p.m. A replay of the 2024 Duke versus North Carolina football game then airs at 9 p.m. on ACCN.

The Blue Devils began practice by working on special teams before shifting to positional workouts and team drills. After the initial session, graduate linebacker Tre Freeman and graduate offensive lineman Justin Pickett met with members of the media.

Duke's 2025 season opener is slated for Thursday, August 28 when it welcomes Elon to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ACC Network Extra.
