SPARKS, Md.—Duke men's lacrosse junior
Patrick Jameison and sophomore
Luke Warrington have been invited to the final training camp ahead of the 2025 World Lacrosse Men's U20 Championship USA Lacrosse announced Wednesday.
The final training camp will be held at Cornell University from July 23-26. Following the camp, head coach Shawn Nadelen and the staff will determine the final 22 players selected for the roster for the world championship.
The World Lacrosse Men's U20 Championship will be held in Seogwipo, South Korea on Jeju Island from August 15-24, 2025. The United States has won all nine junior year championships sponsored by World Lacrosse, most recently capturing the 2022 title in Limerick, Ireland.
Starting every game in goal, Jameison dropped his goals against average from 10.25 last season to 9.73 in 2025 while his save percentage increased from .531 to .534 between his rookie and sophomore campaign. He averaged 10.33 saves per game and came on strong in the latter half of the season with double-digit saves in the final eight games, including 16 in the ACC Championship final against Syracuse.
Warrington played in all 18 games as a defensive midfielder for the Blue Devils. He helped to lead one of the nation's best rope units, compiling seven ground balls and two caused turnovers. He also contributed a goal as Duke finished the year with a 9.78 goals against average – one of 18 teams to allow fewer than 10 goals per game.
The 24 players coming to the training camp include 14 college sophomores, six college freshman and four high school seniors from the 2025 season. The players come from nine states and represent 16 different colleges.
