DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse head coach
Kerstin Kimel has announced the addition of rising sophomore transfer
Avery Doran to the Blue Devils' 2026 roster.
Doran, a native of Wilton, Conn., spent her freshman season at Brown as a key contributor on the Bears' 2025 squad. Doran helped guide Brown to its first-ever Ivy League Tournament berth and the team's first appearance in the NCAA Championship.
The attacker appeared in all 17 games with three starts, tallying 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points. She also recorded eight ground balls and caused eight turnovers.
Doran notched three or more points in seven contests, highlighted by a career-best seven-point outing against Yale, a mark she matched later in the season against Dartmouth.
She was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on April 14 after compiling 13 total points in wins over Bryant and Dartmouth. She was also ranked No. 21 in the final

Doran joins the Blue Devils alongside graduate transfer
McKenzie Olsen, a recent addition from Syracuse announced by Kimel last Friday.
