McKenna, Payne Receive National Team Calls

DURHAM, N.C. – A pair of Duke women's soccer alumnae – Kayla (McCoy) McKenna and Toni Payne – have received national team calls to represent their home countries of Jamaica and Nigeria, respectively.
McKenna, a 2019 Duke graduate, will represent Jamaica in a June 3 international friendly against the United States. The contest will take place at Energizer Park in St. Louis, Mo., at 8 p.m. (ET) and fans can watch on TNT, HBO Max, Universo & Peacock in Spanish and on the radio on Westwood One Sports.
In the match against the USA, McKenna will face former Duke standout Michelle Cooper.
A 2017 Blue Devil graduate, Payne is set to don the Nigeria kit for two friendly matches against Cameroon in Nigeria. The teams will face each other May 31 at Remo Stars Stadium and June 3 at MKO Abiola Sports Complex.
Nigeria is preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations competition that will take place July 5-26 in Morocco.
