207 Student-Athletes Earn Duke Degrees

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke University held its annual university-wide commencement ceremony on Sunday at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to celebrate its graduating classes of the academic year, as 207 student-athletes received degrees.Â
Commencement speaker Grant Hill, a Duke Athletics Hall of Fame and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, noted in his remarks, "Guard your integrity as your most valuable asset."
Duke President Vincent E. Price, who presided over the graduation ceremony, added, "Class of 2025, in your relatively short lifetimes, the world has already seen transformative developments, including breakthroughs in artificial intelligence; a revolution in media and information sharing, and the introduction of life-changing technologies, including the iPhone and electric vehicles."
