DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke wide receiver Eli Pancol has agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars to join the NFL organization as an undrafted free agent.

Pancol played in 57 career games with 27 starts and registered 130 receptions for 1,710 yards (13.15) with 14 touchdowns and rushed seven times for 40 yards (5.71) with two scores. The Pendleton, Ind., product was a two-time Academic All-ACC selection (2022; 2024) and a 2024 Third Team All-ACC honoree.

On Duke's career ledger, Pancol ranks eighth in TD receptions of 20 or more yards (10), 12th in total touchdown receptions, 15th in receiving yards and 17th in receptions. He hauled in at least one catch in 45 games, the fifth most in Duke history, and two or more receptions in 35 contests to tie for the eighth most by a Blue Devil.Â

As a graduate student in 2024, Pancol received the ACC's Brian Piccolo Award as the league's comeback player of the year. He also was the program's Ace Parker Award recipient, for overcoming adversity to contribute, and Offensive Most Valuable Player. Pancol helped lift the Blue Devils to just their eighth nine-win season in program history by boosting the offense in win No. 8. Pancol tallied five catches for 188 yards versus Virginia Tech on his Senior Night. He registered 86-, 77- and seven-yard TD catches against the Hokies with the 86-yarder marking the third-longest play in program history. The three TD catches tied for the third most in a game in Duke history.

During his final campaign, Pancol caught 60 passes for 798 yards (13.30) with nine touchdowns. He finished third in the ACC in TD receptions and stood 20th nationally. He also ranked 11th in the league in total receiving yards and 13th in receiving yards per game (61.38).Â

Pancol missed the 2023 campaign after suffering a season-ending lower body injury during fall camp. In 2022, he saw action in nine games with eight starts before a lower body injury ended his season. Prior to the injury, he registered 23 receptions for 347 yards (15.09), finishing fourth on the team in both categories.

In his third year with the program in 2021, Pancol played in all 12 games with six starts. He recorded 17 catches for 233 yards (13.71) with one score, ranking fourth on the team in receptions and yards. He recorded 24 receptions for 241 yards (10.04) with one touchdown during the 2020 campaign.Â

As a true freshman in 2019, Pancol earned Honorable Mention Freshman All-America accolades by Pro Football Focusafter playing in all 12 games. He caught six passes for 91 yards (15.17) and three scores while adding three rushes for 20 yards (6.67) and one TD.Â

Pancol graduated from Duke in May 2023 with a visual and media studies degree and added a master's degree in management studies from Duke's Fuqua School of Business in May 2024.Â
