DURHAM, N.C. - The No. 13 Duke men's tennis team hosts SMU and Boston College for two home matches this weekend. The Blue Devils will face the Mustangs March 21 at 2 p.m. and the Eagles March 23 at 11 a.m. Duke enters the weekend 12-4 overall and 5-1 in ACC play.

RANKED NO. 13 AS A TEAMÂ
Duke was ranked No. 13 by the ITA, as announced on March 17. Other ACC schools included in this week's top 50 include No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 5 NC State, No. 6 Virginia, No. 8 Stanford, No. 14 Cal, No. 16 Clemson, No. 34 Miami, No. 37 Florida State and No. 38 Georgia Tech.Â

The Blue Devils went 1-1 last weekend, winning 4-1 over Georgia Tech before falling 2-4 at Clemson.Â

In the Georgia Tech match, Duke secured the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. At the second spot, Williams and Petrovic upset No. 33 Krish Arora and Christophe Clement, 6-4. Dugardin and juniorÂ
Gerard Planelles Ripoll clinched the point for Duke with a 7-6 (3) win at the third spot. In singles play, all three Blue Devils who secured points did so in straight sets. On court three, seniorÂ
Connor Krug posted a 6-4, 6-0 victory, while Rodenas earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at the top position. FreshmanÂ
Saahith Jayaraman's 6-4, 6-1 triumph clinched the match for Duke.

Against the Tigers, Duke dropped the doubles point to give Clemson an early 1-0 lead. In singles play, Rodenas earned a straight-set victory at the No. 1 singles spot (6-3, 6-1). Williams followed suit with a two-set win on court two (6-4, 6-1); however, Clemson clinched the match with victories on courts three, four and six.

HISTORY WITH SMUÂ
Duke will face SMU for the fourth time in program history and the first time in over 20 years. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 3-0, with their last meeting in 2000 resulting in a 4-2 Duke victory.

SMU is ranked No. 56 by the ITA and features one nationally ranked Mustang in singles and one ranked doubles duo. In singles, Trevor Svajda ranks No. 86 with a 7-6 record in dual matches, competing exclusively at the top position.

In doubles, the duo of Louis Cloud and Svajda ranks No. 45. They hold a 6-3 record in dual matches this season, going 6-2 at the No. 2 spot and 0-1 at No. 1.

HISTORY WITH BOSTON COLLEGE
Duke is undefeated against Boston College, leading the all-time series 20-0. The last matchup came during the 2024 season, where the Blue Devils earned a 6-1 road victory.
