DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse alumna Gabby Rosenzweig helped lead the Ireland Lacrosse Sixes National Team to gold at the European Qualifier for the 2025 World Games, securing a spot in the tournament set for August in Chengdu, China.
A standout for the Blue Devils as a graduate transfer, Rosenzweig tallied 26 goals and 39 assists during the 2021 season. Her 65 points rank No. 29 in Duke's single-season records.
Rosenzweig played a pivotal role in Ireland's qualification, earning All-Tournament (All-Europe) honors after scoring 13 goals and adding six assists over five tournament days. Ireland punched its ticket to the 2025 World Games with an 11-10 semifinal victory over Israel. Rosenzweig sealed the championship win for Ireland by netting the overtime game-winner in a 12-11 victory over Czechia.
Up next for World Lacrosse, the Hong Kong Lacrosse Open takes place in April, followed by World Lacrosse championship qualifiers in May and July.
