DURHAM – Five former Duke Blue Devils were selected to the MLB's 2025 Spring Breakout. The MLB Spring Breakout is a four-day event showcasing baseball's future: the current stars of Minor League Baseball.

Spring Breakout is back for its second year, and top prospects across all 30 organizations will again take center stage in Arizona and Florida.
The second annual edition of Spring Breakout, which takes place March 13-16, features hundreds of the top prospects from around the league. The rosters are stacked, highlighted by 72 players on MLB Pipeline's top 100 prospects list and nearly two-thirds of the 900 players on the organizational top 30 lists. Eighteen No. 1 prospects are scheduled to participate, as are 21 players ranked No. 2 in their respective organizations.
All Breakout games will be held between March 13-16 across the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues, and all 16 will be broadcast through MLB.com, MLB Network, or regional sports networks. The full schedule can be found by clicking
