DURHAM, N.C. – Following the conclusion of the NCAA College Cup Monday evening, the Duke women's soccer tandem of freshman
Avery Oder and redshirt junior
Kat Rader were named to the all-tournament team.
The second-seeded Blue Devils dropped a 1-0 decision to top-ranked Stanford in the semifinals Friday to conclude the season with a 17-5-1 ledger.
Oder, a native of Calabasas, California, saw action in 67 minutes, attempting one shot in the match. On the season, Oder had an impressive rookie campaign, starting 22-of-23 matches with six goals, four assists and 16 points.
In the semifinal match, Rader saw action in the full 90 minutes and attempted two shots. The Stuart, Florida, product concluded the season with some of the best all-around statistics in program history with 12 goals, 12 assists and 36 points. Rader became the fourth Blue Devil to collect 10 or more goals and assists in a season.
