EL PASO, Texas – For the fourth time in four seasons, onsite bowl game preparations have begun for Duke. After the Blue Devils arrived in El Paso on Friday afternoon, Duke took to the practice field for the first time Saturday.

Donning pads for a traditional Tuesday practice, Duke began the first phase of its final preparations for the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl on December 31 against Arizona State. A win against the Sun Devils would be the Blue Devils' ninth of the year and give Duke consecutive seasons with nine or more wins for just the second time in program history.
