DURHAM, N.C. — The ACC office announced Wednesday the 2025 All-ACC women's soccer teams with six Duke student-athletes selected following a vote of the league's head coaches.
Duke's junior
Mia Minestrella earned first team recognition, while redshirt junior
Kat Rader (Second Team), senior
Carina Lageyre (Third Team), junior
Cameron Roller (Third Team),
Avery Oder (All-Freshman) and
Daya King (All-Freshman) received accolades.
A native of Redondo Beach, California, Minestrella has turned in an impressive season with a team-high 12 goals, four assists and team-best 28 points. She owns four game-winning goals and is the only player in the ACC to score in all of her team's road contests so far this season. In the ACC stats, Minestrella currently ranks fifth in goals, sixth in points and tied for fourth in game-winning goals. Minestrella has stepped up her game even more in ACC action with eight goals and one assist. It marks her first All-ACC award of her career.
Rader received Second Team All-ACC accolades for the third time in her career, after totaling nine goals, eight assists, 26 points and three game-winning tallies. A product of Stuart, Florida, Rader tallied goals against four ACC opponents – Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh and Syracuse – and registered at least a goal or assist in seven of the 10 regular season ACC contests.
Earning well-deserved All-ACC recognition for the first time as a senior, Lageyre continues to be one of the top midfielders in the collegiate game. She has started 16 matches and logged 1,295 minutes for the Blue Devils, while adding two goals and one assist. Both goals and the assist have come against ranked opponents. Lageyre, who is from Cooper City, Florida, has started 53-of-59 matches over her Blue Devil career, including 52 in a row.
Roller, who is from Sherman, Texas, was voted All-ACC for the second year in a row, after earning first-team honors last year. One of the top center backs in the game, Roller started all 17 matches for Duke and leads the squad with 1,456 minutes. She has helped lead the Blue Devils to eight shutouts and to a third-place finish in the very challenging ACC. Roller owns four assists on the year, all against ACC foes.
A pair of Duke rookies – Oder and King – were named to the 11-member All-ACC Freshman squad.
Oder has been one of the top scoring freshmen in the nation with six goals, four assists and 16 points for the Blue Devils. She has started 16-of-17 matches and collected two game-winning goals versus Virginia Tech and Creighton. Oder, who hails from Calabasas, California, opened her collegiate career with four goals over her first five matches. Over a three-game stretch in the ACC, Oder tallied two goals and an assist against Pittsburgh, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
King has been tremendous on the defensive end for the Blue Devils, starting all 16 contests she has seen action in. Her 1,376 minutes rank second behind Roller on the Duke squad, while finishing the full 90 minutes in 14 matches. Offensively, King added assists on goals against Virginia and Pittsburgh.
Duke finished the regular season with a 7-3-0 ledger in the ACC to earn the third seed in the ACC Championship. The Blue Devils (13-3-1) defeated sixth-seeded Louisville to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championship and will face second-seeded Notre Dame Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m., at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.
