DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke women's golf All-America selection Emma McMyler is set to compete in the qualifying stage of LPGA Q-Series, which will take place Oct. 15-18 at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida.Â

A field of 197 golfers will compete in qualifying that will be contested on both the Bobcat and Panther Courses at the Plantation Golf and Country Club. The event will be a 72-hole, stroke-play format with no cut.Â

Provided they meet all other eligibility criteria for LPGA membership, the top 45 and ties after the final round will qualify to advance to the Final Qualifying Stage of LPGA Q-Series in December at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama.Â

In one season with the Blue Devils as a graduate student, McMyler earned both Golfweek and Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2023-24. She finished the season ranked No. 38 nationally, after carding a team-best 72.03 stroke average with one top-5, three top-10 and five top-20 finishes. She collected 18 rounds of even or under par and a tied for team best with six rounds in the 60s. Â
McMyler, who is a native of San Antonio, Texas, competed on the Epson Tour this past season earning $19,100 in earnings and totaled one top-10 finish in 18 starts.Â

She will open action at 1:37 p.m., Wednesday in the first round.Â
