Barrett, Canada Advance to Quarterfinals after Win over Spain
RJ Barrett scored 16 points and distributed three assists as Canada wrapped up Group A men's basketball play with an 88-85 victory over Spain to remain undefeated.

Barrett made 6-of-10 shots from the field and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe. He tallied seven points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-point field goal with 39 seconds remaining to increase Canada's lead to five points, which was enough to fend off Spain's comeback effort.

Canada (3-0) advances to the quarterfinals, which gets underway on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Golubovic Completes Day One of Men's Decathlon
Competing for his home country of Australia, former Duke track and field multis athlete Dan Golubovic took part in the first day of the men's decathlon. At the conclusion of day one, Golubovic, a 2017 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-American, ACC Outdoor Decathlon champion and two-time All-ACC selection in his lone season with the Blue Devils (2016-17), sits in 21st place with 3,771 points through the first five events. His best performance of the day came in the high jump where he placed 18th with a clearance of 1.93 meters.
