DURHAM, N.C. - Ten members of the Duke women's lacrosse team were selected to the 2023 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association Wednesday.
Carly Bernstein, Kay Conway, Katie DeSimone, Katie Keller, Izzy Marsh, Maddie McCorkle, Kerry Nease, Lexi Schmalz, Julia Schwasnick and Reilly Traynor were honored.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.50 or greater.
In addition to the individual honors, head coach Kerstin Kimel's squad was tabbed a Division I Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
