CHARLOTTE - Twenty-five members of the Duke women's lacrosse team were selected to the All-ACC Academic Team for the 2024 campaign, as announced by the league office Wednesday.
Duke led all schools with 25 honorees. The Blue Devils honored were Caitlin Barrett, Madison Beale, Carly Bernstein, Olivia Carner, Kay Conway, Caroline DeBellis, Katie DeSimone, Kennedy Everson, Bella Goodwin, Grace Hulslander, Courtney Kaufman, Katie Keller, Maggie McCarthy, Maddie McCorkle, Kerry Nease, Eva Pronti, Lexi Schmalz, Julia Schwasnick, Mattie Shearer, Sydney Smith, Adele Swanson, Reilly Traynor, Margaret Anne Warner, Ellie White and Reese Woodworth.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
