Notes
Â
- "I just had to stay patient throughout the round. I didn't get off to the hottest start, but I knew that there were a lot of birdie opportunities on the back nine. So, I hit some solid shots. It was really, really windy out there and really tough, but I just had to stay patient and trust my game."-- Duke Graduate Student Emma McMyler
Â
- "The first few holes were definitely tough. They were playing tough. And I just had to pick apart the golf course and I think I did that pretty well. I didn't have a lot of birdie opportunities in the beginning, but I was fighting for pars and was able to keep the round going into the back nine."-- Duke Graduate Student Emma McMyler
Â
- "The views are definitely really pretty and spectacular. So, that always makes for a fun round, but it's definitely a challenge. There's a lot of elevation changes and whenever you get down in the valley it's hard to hard to feel the wind so it's definitely a challenge, but a good challenge to face."-- Duke Graduate Student Emma McMyler on the challenge of the golf course
Â
What is Next
