- Graduate closer Charlie Beilenson was named ACC Pitcher of the Week on Monday, following a 2-0 record on the mound this week. Beilenson worked a combined 6.2 innings in his three outings, earning wins against Gardner-Webb and Virginia Tech, before slamming the door on the Hokies in Sunday's rubber match, his ninth save of the season. Over his 6.2 innings, Beilenson struck out 10 batters, held opponents to a .045 batting average against and allowed one hit.
- Zac Morris leads the team with 21 two-out RBI this season, as the Blue Devils have tallied 87 as a collective unit. The 87 runs account for 25.8% of Duke's scoring this season.
- Freshman AJ Gracia continues to chase greatness for Duke in first season. The rookie began the year with a 22-game reached base streak and added his ninth and 10th home runs of the season on Sunday at No. 23 Virginia Tech and now sits two home runs away from breaking Andrew Fischer's freshman home run record of 11. The Monroe, N.J., native has started all 40 games, producing a slash line of .308/.575/.449, while leading the team in walks with 33. Gracia has also posted 42 RBI through 40 games and is now one shy of Joey Loperfido's record of 43 RBI by a freshman at Duke.
- The Blue Devils improved to 12-1 on the season when scoring 10-plus runs in a game on Sunday against Virginia Tech. Duke's lone loss when scoring 10-plus runs in a contest was against Pitt in the series finale on Sunday. The Blue Devils were 18-0 a year ago when scoring 10 or more runs and 4-0 in the ACC.
- Duke has won its 29 contests this season by a combined run total of 183, while losing their 11 contests by a combined 21 runs. Duke has lost five one-run contests and hasn't lost a game by more than four runs this season.
