DURHAM – Coming off a pair of ACC wins this past weekend, the 21st-ranked Duke women's tennis team (8-4, 2-2 ACC) will close a four-match homestand by hosting 46th-ranked Clemson (9-5, 1-3) on Friday at 2 p.m., and 26th-ranked Georgia Tech (7-5, 3-1) on Sunday at 11 a.m., at Ambler Tennis Stadium.

The Series with Clemson
Duke and Clemson will meet for the 32nd time in school history. The Blue Devils are 22-9 all-time in the series. Duke has won its last 11 matches against Clemson with the latest win occurring on Mar. 10, 2023, 5-2. The Blue Devils own an 11-3 record in Durham against the Tigers. In their last matchup in Durham, the Blue Devils registered a 6-1 win against Clemson.
Scouting Clemson
Clemson holds a 9-5 overall and 1-3 ACC record on the season and is coming off a 4-0 win against Charleston Southern. The Tigers currently rank No. 46 as a team in the latest ITA rankings. Clemson's squad welcomes back three seniors in Sophia Hatton, Christina Mayorova, and Daniella Medvedeva.
The Series with Georgia Tech
Duke and Georgia Tech will square off for the 35th time in school history. The Blue Devils hold a 21-13 record against the Yellow Jackets all-time in the series. Duke and Georgia Tech will meet for the 15th time in Durham. In matches played in Durham, Duke is 12-2, winning its last matchup, 5-2.

Georgia Tech possesses a 7-5 overall and 3-1 ACC record on the season with the Yellow Jackets trumping Virginia Tech, 4-3, in their latest matchup. In the latest ITA rankings, Georgia Tech slots at No. 26 as a team. Carol Lee (50) is the lone Yellow Jacket in the singles ledgers. In doubles, Carol Lee/Kate Sharabura are ranked No. 16.

Duke heads to Orlando, Fla., for spring break to face 40th-ranked Princeton on Wednesday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m. It will mark the second meeting of the season between the two teams as the Blue Devils registered a 4-0 victory on Jan. 26 in Durham.

Iuliia Bryzgalova and
Brianna Shvets – are approaching the 100-win singles mark of their careers.
Bryzgalova features 97 wins over her career at Duke and Penn, while Shvets owns 95 wins at Duke and Princeton.
With her doubles win this past weekend, Bryzgalova totaled her 100th career doubles win and moved her career doubles ledger to 100-30. She also owns a 68-14 career dual match doubles mark and is 24-2 over her time in the ACC and Ivy League in doubles.
Ashworth Reaches 600 Wins
Head coach
Jamie Ashworth reached his 600th victory on Jan. 20 in a 4-2 win over Illinois. He accomplished this mark in only 747 matches becoming the quickest coach to 600 wins.

- Junior Emma Jackson registered her third career victory over a top-10 opponent recently as she defeated 10th-ranked Alexa Noel of Miami with a 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 win on the road.Jackson now owns seven victories on the season against ranked foes.She owns 11 wins over her last 14 singles matches.
- After seeing limited action as a freshman, Katie Codd had an impressive fall totaling a 7-3 record, including winners of five out of her final six matches.She tallied a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Vanderbilt's Celia Belle Mohr for the highest ranked victory of her career. Codd won her first six dual matches of her collegiate career.Codd is currently 6-0 on the season playing at the No. 4 singles slot.
- So far this season, Duke has received two ACC weekly honors – Shavit Kimchi (ACC Freshman of the Week) and Brianna Shvets and Iuliia Bryzgalova (ACC Doubles Team of the Week).
- The Blue Devils have won 52 out of the last 53 matches when winning the doubles point.Duke had won 47 in a row, before a defeat in the NCAA Tournament second round last season to UCLA.
- In the fall, freshman Shavit Kimchi became the first Blue Devil to open her collegiate career with a pair of top-30 ranked wins since Beatrice Capra accomplished it in 2010-11.Over the last 17 years, only Kimchi and Capra registered this feat.
