The Opening Faceoff
- Duke returns home Wednesday for a midweek matchup with Providence at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils will play three straight on the road before returning home March 27.

Duke still leads the nation in scoring with 18.29 goals per game with Josh Zawada ranking seventh nationally at 5.86 points per game. Patrick Jameison helps anchor a defense that is allowing 10 goals per game. Jameison ranks seventh in save percentage and sixth in goals against average.
- Duke has a tough stretch ahead with a battle at No. 16 Richmond (March 16), No. 6 Syracuse (March 20) and No. 7 Denver (March 24) in a span of nine days.

- Josh Zawada had six assists, Brennan O'Neill had five points (4-1) and Dyson Williams had four goals to lead Duke to a 16-10 win at Loyola. The Blue Devils pulled away in the second half after heading into the locker room knotted at 7-7.

Duke's High Powered Offense
- Duke scored at least 20 goals in consecutive games to start the 2024 season. It was just the sixth time in program history the Blue Devils have registered back-to-back 20-goal games. Duke has had 63 20-goal games in its history and multiple times in 19 seasons.
- The Blue Devils hit 20 goals in four different games in 1999 with the fourth coming against St. Andrews - an NAIA program.
- Duke's 18.29 goals per game leads the nation by more than a goal. The 2008 squad holds the school record for season goals average at 15.41 (262 goals in 17 games). The records for goals in a season is 304 in 2008.
Duke's Solid Defense
- Duke ranks 16th nationally in scoring defense at 10 goals allowed per game. The Blue Devils have held three opponents to single digits this season and have given up more than 10 just twice.
- The Blue Devils are one of nine programs to be ranked in the top 16 of both scoring offense and scoring defense. Duke has forced its opponents into at least 13 turnovers in each of the seven games and ranks second nationally in caused turnovers per game (11.43).
- Duke's lowest goals against average since the shot clock was instituted in 2019 was 9.61 in 2019.
