DURHAM, N.C. - Four Duke Blue Devils -

Grace Penn,
Nikki Underwood and
Rachel Richardson - were announced to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Keefe, a junior outside hitter from Pacific Palisades, California, achieved a 3.877 grade point average as an economics major, while also ranking seventh in the ACC with 3.57 kills per set during the 2024 campaign. She recorded a team-high 411 kills, finished second on the squad with 32 service aces, and placed third in digs with 219 and total blocks with 43.Â
Penn, a graduate setter from Manhattan Beach, California, registered a 3.630 GPA while pursuing a master's degree in management studies. She ranked seventh in the ACC with 8.29 assists per set, and her career-best 879 total assists on the season pushed her career total to 3,028. Penn placed second on the team with 224 digs, while contributing 20 service aces, 29 kills and 17 blocks.
Underwood, a senior defensive specialist from Manhattan Beach, California, posted a 3.636 GPA as a psychology major. She collected 194 digs to rank fourth on the team and distributed 31 assists.
Richardson, a senior outside hitter from Ellicott City, Maryland, attained a 3.596 grade point average as a psychology major with a minor in African and African-American studies. She ranked third on the team with 198 kills, while adding 128 digs, 35 blocks and 19 service aces.
