DURHAM, N.C. - Duke junior safety Terry Moore was named to the All-America Second Team by Action Network, according to an announcement by the organization.
Moore, 6-1, 200-pound junior from Washington, N.C., started all 12 regular season games and finished with 70 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, three interceptions, six pass breakups and two caused fumbles.
He owns Pro Football Focus' No. 1 coverage grade in the ACC and is the organization's No. 2 ranked defender in the ACC. Moore stands second on the team in tackles in ACC games with 53 and tied for sixth in the league in interceptions (three).
Moore helped anchor a Duke defense that heads into the bowl season leading the country in fumbles recovered (14) and standing second nationally in tackles for loss per game (9.17), third in sacks per game (3.33) and sixth in total turnovers gained (26). He is the first Duke safety to receive All-America accolades since Jeremy Cash in 2015.
The Blue Devils cap the campaign in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, facing No. 16 Ole Miss in Jacksonville, Fla., on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
