Duke boasts the No. 1 adjusted defensive efficiency in the nation, according to KenPom.
The Blue Devils rank eighth in the country in field goal percentage defense (.347), 11th in 3-pointers per game (11.4), 12th in scoring defense (57.4), 17th in rebounds per game (44.0) and 19th in rebound margin (+11.8).
Cooper Flagg scored a game-high 24 points with seven boards, three assists and three blocked shots to lead the Blue Devils to a 69-55 road win over No. 17 Arizona on Nov. 22.
Flagg tops Duke in points (89), rebounds (45), assists (19), steals (9) and blocks (10).
Tyrese Proctor has made two 3-pointers or more in all five regular-season games and both exhibition contests to lead Duke with 15 triples.
Duke is the tallest team in the country, according to KenPom, with an average height of 79.6 inches, better than 6-7 per Blue Devil.
In Duke's last game played on Nov. 26, the No. 5 Blue Devils defeated No. 1 Gonzaga, 84-81, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in 2021.
Tuesday night marks the eighth straight meeting between Duke and Kansas with both teams ranked inside the top-25.
The last four games in the series have been decided by a total of 13 points, and there has only been one double-digit margin of victory in the last nine clashes.
Strength of Schedule
Tuesday is the continuation of a six-game stretch for Duke against four teams that are ranked in the Associated Press top-25 poll (No. 8 Kentucky, No. 24 Arizona, No. 1 Kansas and No. 4 Auburn) and were at least a 4-seed in last season's NCAA Tournament.
Duke plays three true road games (Nov. 22 at Arizona, Dec. 8 at Louisville, Dec. 21 at Georgia Tech) before Christmas for the first time since the 1990-91 season.
About the Kansas Jayhawks
Kansas is led by 7-2 graduate center Hunter Dickinson, a two-time Consensus All-America Second Team selection at two different schools, Michigan (2021) and Kansas (2024), who is averaging a double-double through five games with 17.8 points and 10.4 boards per game.
Dickinson has 2,297 points and 1,200 rebounds in 132 career games, shooting 56.4% from the field in five seasons.
Kansas is the most experienced team in the nation with and average of 3.44 years of Division I experience per player, according to KenPom.
The Jayhawks rank sixth nationally in assist/turnover ratio (+2.15).
Kansas head coach Bill Self, who has a 4-4 record against Duke, captured his 800th career victory on Nov. 19 against UNC Wilmington.

Duke picked up a road win, 69-55, over No. 17 Arizona on Friday, Nov. 22.
Cooper Flagg led the team with 24 total points, including 16 points after intermission, while also adding seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal.
Kon Knueppel scored 11 second-half points, connecting on 3-of-4 from distance after the break, to finish with 13 points, while also grabbing seven boards to tie for the team lead.
Head coach Jon Scheyer picked up his eighth win against a top-25 team and has led Duke to victory in seven of the last 10 games that the Blue Devils have played against ranked opponents.
Duke defeated a top-25 team in a true road game for the first time since knocking off Michigan State, 87-75, on Dec. 3, 2019, at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan.
The Blue Devils out-rebounded the Wildcats, 43-30, and have finished with a positive margin on the glass in all five contests so far this season. Arizona started the contest as the national leader in rebounding margin (+24.3).
Arizona entered Friday averaging 21.7 offensive boards per game, but finished the night with just six.
Arizona was averaging 94.3 points per outing, which ranked ninth in the country, but the Blue Devils held the Wildcats to just 55 points on 39.6% shooting from the field and 26.1% behind the arc.
Arizona's 55 points represent the Wildcats' lowest offensive output in the regular season since Feb. 27, 2020, a 57-48 road loss at USC.

Duke is at the top of KenPom.com's list of tallest teams in the country with an average height of 79.6 inches, better than 6-7 per Blue Devil.
Duke freshman Cooper Flagg, the No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, secured a spot on the 2024-25 Associated Press preseason All-America Team.
The 6-9 guard/forward was also announced as the Preseason ACC Rookie of the Year and named to the Preseason All-ACC First Team, as chosen by a select media panel.
Flagg collected 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in the season-opener against Maine to become the first freshman in Duke history to have at least 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in their debut.
Flagg was the first Duke player in the last 40 years to amass 50+ points, 25+ rebounds and 10+ assists in his first three career games, per ESPN.
Flagg was voted as the ACC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week on Nov. 25, becoming the first player to earn both honors in the same week since Feb. 3, 2020, when Duke's Vernon Carey, Jr., accomplished the same feat.
Duke Against No. 1-Ranked Opponents
Duke has played 31 opponents ranked No. 1 in program history, earning 10 victories in those matchups.
The Blue Devils have won their last two meetings against the top-ranked programs in the nation, defeating Gonzaga, 84-81, on Nov. 26, 2021, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and knocking off Syracuse, 66-60, on Feb. 22, 2014, at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke was ranked No. 5 in both of those contests.
The Blue Devils have secured victories in six of their last 10 meetings against No. 1-ranked opponents, dating back to a 63-53 triumph over Temple on March 26, 1988, during the NCAA Tournament in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Duke has won two clashes against No. 1 teams when the Blue Devils were not ranked in the top-10 - beating North Carolina, 77-75, on March 10, 1984, at the ACC Tournament in Greensboro (Duke No. 16), and defeating West Virginia, 72-68, on Jan. 27, 1958, at Cameron Indoor Stadium (Duke unranked).
