No. 12 Duke hits the road for the first of two back-to-back ranked matchups against Big 12 foes. The Blue Devils make their third trip all-time to the McKale Memorial Center, battling No. 17 Arizona on Friday, Nov. 22, at 10:30 p.m., ET, on ESPN2.
Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas and Myron Medcalf will call the action on ESPN2. David Shumate and John Roth team up for the broadcast on the Blue Devil Sports Network.
Friday night also marks the first of three games against a current top-25 team across the Blue Devils' next four contests. Duke plays No. 1 Kansas on Tuesday, Nov. 26 in Las Vegas and welcomes No. 4 Auburn to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 4 for the ACC/SEC Challenge.
The all-time series favors Arizona, 6-4, with the Wildcats picking up the win, 78-73 in the most recent meeting between the two teams on Nov. 10, 2023, in the first game of the current home-and-home series.
Each of the last nine games played between Duke and Arizona have been top-25 matchups.
Duke ranks seventh in the country in both field goal percentage defense (.336) and three-pointers per game (12.0), and is positioned 13th in the nation in scoring margin (+30.5) and 17th in assist-turnover ratio (+1.89).
Cooper Flagg contributed across the board in Duke's most recent outing, scoring eight points to go alongside a team-high nine rebounds and game-highs in assists (six), steals (three) and blocks (two).
His effort against Wofford, combined with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds against Kentucky, earned Flagg his first ACC Rookie of the Week honors on Nov. 18.
Tyrese Proctor is 13-of-26 (.500) from beyond the arc so far this season. The junior has made at least two three-pointers and scored in double-figures in every game, including exhibitions.
 Strength of Schedule
Friday is the continuation of a six-game stretch for Duke against four teams that are ranked in the Associated Press top-25 poll (No. 9 Kentucky, No. 17 Arizona, No. 1 Kansas and No. 4 Auburn) and were at least a 4-seed in last season's NCAA Tournament.
Duke plays three true road games (Nov. 22 at Arizona, Dec. 8 at Louisville, Dec. 21 at Georgia Tech) before Christmas for the first time since the 1990-91 season.

Caleb Love currently leads Arizona in scoring with 13.5 points per game, while Tobe Awaka ranks seventh in the nation with 12.0 rebounds per contest.
Love was picked to the Preseason All-Big 12 First Team and joined Duke's Cooper Flagg on the Associated Press Preseason All-America Team.
The Wildcats lead the nation in rebounding margin (+24.3) and rank ninth in scoring offense (94.3).

Duke turned in a dominant performance on Saturday, Nov. 16, defeating Wofford, 86-35, inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Eleven different Blue Devils registered in the score sheet, led by Tyrese Proctor, who finished with 15 points.
Cooper Flagg paced the Blue Devils' rebounding efforts, with nine boards, and stuffed the stat sheet, adding eight points, and game-highs in assists (six), steals (three) and blocks (two).
Duke's defense forced 19 turnovers, including four shot clock violations, and held Wofford to 35 points, the fewest points scored by a Blue Devils' opponent since 1968.
The 35 points by the Terriers were the fourth-fewest allowed by Duke overall since 1955, and the second-fewest surrendered at Cameron Indoor Stadium (34 by NC State on Jan. 9, 1960) in that same timeframe.
The 51-point margin of victory was the largest for the Duke program since Nov. 12, 2019, when Duke defeated Central Arkansas, 105-54, at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils shared the ball well, dishing 24 assists, a season-high, on 30 field goals.
Duke went 10-of-11 (.909) from the charity stripe, marking its best performance from the free throw line, by percentage, since connecting on all four free throws at Syracuse on Feb. 18, 2023.

Duke has won all 11 games played on Nov. 22, dating back to an 86-57 home triumph over Vanderbilt in 1996.
In a top-20 matchup on this date, the No. 6 Blue Devils defeated No. 15 Michigan, 82-75 in the 2011 Maui Invitational.
Duke's last outing on Nov. 22 was a 107-81 home victory over The Citadel in 2021.
This will be Duke's first true road game played on Nov. 22.
