CARY, N.C. – Following the conclusion of the ACC Championship on Sunday in Cary, Duke women' soccer sophomore
Cameron Roller was named to the All-ACC Tournament team.
Roller, who hails from Sherman, Texas, played the entire 90 minutes on defense for the Blue Devils and also registered Duke's lone goal of the match. She connected on her fourth tally of the season at the 28:02 mark of the first half, off a penalty kick to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead. Duke eventually dropped a 2-1 decision to North Carolina in the semifinals.
The 2024 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, Roller has started all 17 matches for the Blue Devils and helped Duke to eight shutouts. She owns four goals and three assists for 11 points on the year.
No. 1 ranked Duke (14-2-1) awaits the NCAA Tournament selection show, which will take place Monday, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m., live on NCAA.com.
